Why Tropic Air Rescue for Walker’s Cay

Walker’s Cay lies 53 miles northeast of West End, Grand Bahama, in the northern Bahamas. Visitors come to fish, dive and explore the reef, far from mainland medical care.

Tropic Air Rescue helicopters land at remote locations that fixed-wing aircraft cannot reach. Our critical care crew begins treatment on scene and flies members directly to a trauma or specialty center heliport in Florida.
